Volunteer Connection - Virtual Trainings and Enrichments
Featured below is everything the troop co-leaders need to get started on leading virtual troop meetings for their girls.
Homeschool
Girl Scouts offers girls various ways to participate! Depending on your schedule and your girl’s interests, girls can register as an individual member, for camp, or join a troop. Many areas have troops that are geared towards homeschool schedules and meet during the day! The flexibility of Girl Scouts is the perfect fit for families that homeschool.
Plus, the content of all Girl Scout national proficiency badges and journeys have been correlated by grade level to national Common Core Standards, 21st Century Skills Standards, Financial Literacy Education Standards, and curriculum such as Health and PE, Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies learning objectives for all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Families can even incorporate Girl Scout badgework into the curriculum you are using to homeschool!
