Care to Share for Western North Carolina
With the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, Girl Scouts NC Coastal Pines has decided to use the majority of our Care to Share (Treats for Troops) donations from the Fall Product Program to help supply some needed food to Western North Caronlina.
Approximately 75% of all our Care to Share donation products will instead be donated to agencies in the Asheville, NC area for distribution to those in need. A portion of our donations collected will still be given to the USO at RDU Airport to continue to support our military men and women.
We encourage troops to relay this change to all caregivers and Girl Scouts so they can properly inform potential customers about our new donation endeavor to aid the western portion of our state.
Our sale has just begun so there is plenty of time for additional troops and girls to participate and help us get these much-needed donations for those affected by Hurricane Helene.
