Girl Scouts is for all girls.
This is a safe place for girls in grades K – 12, and we offer assistance to those in need. GS-NCCP is committed to ensuring all girls have the opportunity to participate in Girl Scouts. In order to remove financial barriers that may interfere, we offer limited funds to help members who would be unable to join in Girl Scout activities without financial support from the council. Additionally, a number of Medicaid healthcare insurance providers offer a Girl Scouts membership as a benefit to families. Please see your provider below for additional details:
Medicaid Membership
Healthy Blue: One of Healthy Blue’s “extra benefits” is a youth club membership (up to $75) and can be used for your Girl Scout membership. Please contact Healthy Blue Member Services at 844-594-5070 (TTY711) to learn more about eligibility and how to claim your benefit.
WellCare: WellCare of North Carolina members are eligible for a variety of benefits with Girl Scouts – North Carolina Coastal Pines:
• Pay to Girl Scouts an annual membership fee per girl member
• One (1) Girl Scout adult membership fee for WellCare of North Carolina members
• $15 Badge & Sash voucher for all WellCare of North Carolina members under age 18.
Members can also register directly online, selecting the Program Credits payment option and then completing the required form with their WellCare ID Card number.
Carolina Complete Health: Carolina Complete Health members (6-18 years old) receive a $75 after-school activity voucher per year per member. Request your voucher from CCH here. Once you have your voucher, please contact the Girl Scouts – North Carolina Coastal Pines Help Desk (800-284-4475 or helpdesk@nccoastalpines.org) to register for your membership and other benefits.
