The first planned gift in the Girl Scout Movement came from our founder, Juliette Gordon Low. After converting the carriage house of her home into the first Girl Scout national headquarters, she gifted the property to Girl Scouts in her will. Carry on her legacy and make Girl Scouts a beneficiary of your estate plans when you become a member of the Juliette Gordon Low Society.
When donors make planned gifts, they can often make a greater impact on the next generation of Girl Scouts in ways meaningful to their experience and involvement. These gift commitments provide sustainability and support far into the future – ensuring that Girl Scouting will remain for years to come.

In addition to ensuring the legacy of Girl Scouting lives on for generations to come, JGL Society members are recognized with an annual introductory pinning ceremony and are invited to attend a yearly recognition banquet/luncheon. Members are also listed in our Donor Roll and receive special invitations to premier events throughout the year.
