What Can I Do in My GS?
My GS is your digital one-stop shop for all things Girl Scouts! Anyone that has participated in Girl Scouts (or had a girl in their family participate) in the last 2 years already has an account. The email address that we have on file for you is your username.
Logging In
If you haven't logged in since December 2020, you will need to reset your password. To do so, select My GS from the menu on our website and choose "Forgot Password" in the pop-up window. If you are brand new to Girl Scouts or have not participated recently, create a My GS login by selecting My GS from the menu on our website and choosing "Don't have an account? Sign up now." in the pop-up window.
In either case, watch for an email within a few minutes with a link to either reset or create your password. Be sure to check your Spam/Junk folder (or the Promotions group in your Gmail Inbox) if you don't see it. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact our Help Desk at 800-284-4475 or helpdesk@nccoastalpines.org.
Volunteer Toolkit (VTK)
The Volunteer Toolkit (VTK) is a digital resource that supports volunteers in delivering the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and Juliettes (individually registered girls) in managing their own experience with their caregiver, ensuring every Girl Scout has the opportunity she deserves to build a lifetime of leadership, success, and adventure.
The caregiver view for troops, leaders and caregivers can now communicate easily about upcoming meetings, what girls will be doing/learning, attendance and any help needed for the troop meeting.
Accessible from desktop and mobile devices, you can leave the books behind and focus on unleashing the G.I.R.L. (Go-Getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)™ in every Girl Scout!
For Troop Co-Leaders with multi-level troops, check out this guide to using Volunteer Toolkit Resources to plan badges for multi-level troops.
gsLearn
gsLearn is Girl Scouts’ official online and on-demand training forum and is a benefit for all adult Girl Scout members. It empowers members to complete training at their own pace, unless otherwise specified. In addition to essential volunteer training, gsLearn gives you access to hundreds of personal and professional development courses in the Content Library.
Select on demand sessions from your dashboard or the Content Library OR register for live sessions that are virtual or in person. (Here’s how to register for live sessions.) Then, track your trainings and certifications in the Achievement section.
To access gsLearn, sign in to your My GS account and select gsLearn from the menu on the left of the My Account page. Below are the required trainings for new volunteers. Tip: when searching in gsLearn, use only 1 or 2 keywords for the best results. If you don’t find these courses when you search the Home page, then search the Content Library to find them.
