Our Vision
Our commitment to fostering a positive environment for Girl Scouts in central and eastern North Carolina remains unwavering. We want to focus on creating spaces that inspire engagement, challenge, and learning. Our properties play a critical role in providing outdoor leadership experiences and fostering courage, confidence, and character among our members. We are dedicated to improving accessibility to the outdoors, ensuring safe experiences, and enabling Girl Scouts to embark on their own adventures in nature. Stay tuned for more updates as we work towards enriching the outdoor experience, helping Girl Scouts develop a lifelong appreciation for nature, and laying the groundwork for future generations to explore the outdoors.

Transformative Places.
The projects outlined below serve as the foundation to guide Girl Scouts — North Carolina Coastal Pines' strategic planning, fundraising, resource allocation, tactical roadmap, and implementation over the next 10-15 years.
While each camp is unique, they are united by a strategic vision for the future of our Girl Scout properties. All projects will focus on safety, cleanliness, functionality, aesthetics, modernization, accessibility, weatherization, and the development of additional spaces. Re-Imagined Spaces, Transformative Places aims to expand program opportunities, develop more outdoor program spaces (amphiteater, stargazing/night programs, shelters), and amplify STEM, life skills, and outdoor programming.
