Day Camp Flyer

Non-members are welcome to attend but will be prompted to purchase a membership when they register for Day Camp.

Dress for the activities we have planned. We suggest shorts or light leggings with a T-shirt. We will be in the sun and active most of the day. Closed toe shoes are required. A change of clothing in a gallon sized zip-top bag can be left at camp all week just in case campers get wet.  Please apply sunscreen and bug spray before arrival. With signed permission, we will reapply personal labeled sunscreen throughout the day.

Grades: the grade range at the bottom of this section includes grades for the spring and fall.  Choose units based on the grade in fall that is included in the unit name.  For specific step by step instructions to register for camp, please read Camp Registration Help.

Prices:  prices in the session descriptions are the Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines member rates.  Non-Girl Scout members will be prompted to purchase a Girl Scout membership during the registration process.

Camp Extras (before/after care, overnight, etc.): payment is due at the time of purchase.  If you have questions or need assistance, please contact the Customer Care Team at 800-284-4475 or helpdesk@nccoastalpines.org.

Dietary Restrictions: You may indicate restrictions for your camper but please note that allergens may still be present on site.  If you have questions or concerns, please contact Elizabeth Neely, elyarbrough@gmail.com.

Emergency Contact: please provide contact information for 1 emergency contact that is not a parent/guardian in the event that we are unable to reach the parent/guardian numbers on file.

Payment: registration defaults to the non-refundable deposit, but you can change the payment amount if you prefer to pay more than the deposit or the entire amount due now.  Balances are due by May 1st.  Until that date, you can use the Pay Now button on the My Account page in your My GS account to make payments in any amount toward your camp balance.  Beginning on May 1st, you cannot change the amount to pay for camp when you select Pay Now.

Financial assistance/cookie dough: To request financial assistance or to use cookie dough from previous years, please register and pay the deposit, then review the Using Additional Payment Methods document that you will find by going to the My Events page in your My GS account and selecting the name of the camp.  To use cookie dough from this year, register and pay the deposit amount, then complete the Superstar Destinations form at the end of this year's sale.  On the form, you can fill in the name and date of the camp you have registered for and request to apply cookie dough to that session.

Volunteers:  All adult volunteers must be currently registered adults with an eligible background check prior to day camp.  Adult leadership are asked to wear the Day Camp t-shirt daily for identification purposes.  Potential Volunteers should contact Elizabeth Neely at elyarbrough@gmail.com.  Adults that volunteer for the full week of day camp receive 1 free day camper registration at checkout.  Additional children may receive a 50% discount for day camp registration by emailing helpdesk@nccoastalpines.org after they are registered and the deposit is paid.

Program Aide: Program Aides are asked to wear the Day Camp t-shirt daily for identification purposes.  Potential Program Aides should contact Sharon Lord at sharon.lord@gmail.com.

Health History forms should be sent to 5700 Heatherstone Dr, Raleigh NC 27606.  Please note that registration is not complete until the Day Camp Health and Permission Form is submitted for each participant.  Day Camp medical staff need time to adequately prepare properly for all campers and volunteers. The safety of our campers and staff is number one on our agenda!
