National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend is back for it's second annual celebration! Below please find a list of activities, online and off, leading up to the big weekend. Please email cookiebooths@nccoastalpines.org with any questions!

Girl Scout Drive-Thru Cookie Booths - Saturday, Feb. 8, 9am-3pm - All Service Center Locations

Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines will celebrate the Girl Scout cookie program by hosting drive-thru cookie booths at its service center locations in Raleigh, Goldsboro, and Fayetteville on Saturday, February 8.  The booth events are being held in conjunction with National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend, established by Girl Scouts of the USA to help more learn about the “5 Skills” of the cookie program.

The drive-thru booths will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the council’s Raleigh Service Center located at 6901 Pinecrest Road at the intersection of Highway 70; at the Goldsboro Service Center at located 108 E. Lockhaven Drive, and at the Fayetteville Service Center located at 894 Elm Street in the Eutaw Village Shopping Plaza.  Local Girl Scout troops will staff the booths.

The world’s largest girl-led business, the nearly $800-million cookie program aims to teach girls five essential life skills: goal setting, decision making, money management, business ethics, and people skills. When girls sell Girl Scout cookies, they learn to set goals and meet deadlines. They learn how to handle money and make decisions about how to use it.   Girls also learn to talk and listen to all kinds of people and learn to work well with others.

Join the Largest Virtual Cookie Party on Twitter - Wednesday, Feb. 5, 9pm EST

To help kick off the celebratory weekend, Cookie fans and girls can also join the world’s largest virtual Girl Scout cookie party by participating in a national Twitter party with Anna Maria Chávez, local Girl Scout girls and councils around the United States, and Mom It Forward, a leading women’s social media community. The Twitter party kicks off at 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5. To join the celebration, follow @GirlScoutsNCCP on Twitter. There will also be fun prizes and giveaways during the Twitter Party.
