NAMI End the Silence Workshop
Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors, their caregivers and troop leaders are invited to the End the Silence evidence-based workshop by NAMI, National Alliance on Mental Illness. Ending the Silence is an engaging presentation that helps middle and high school aged youth learn about the warning signs of mental health conditions and what steps to take if you or a loved one are showing symptoms of a mental health condition.
Participating Girl Scouts will complete their level-appropriate mental wellness patch.
Sunday November 8
1pm for Cadettes
3pm for Seniors & Ambassadors
* The ADULT programs are the same, so if you have youth in both age ranges, you can pick one adult program.
Please bring your TP105.
You may bring a notebook & pen/pencil to take notes. All phones should be turned off or on silent.
No refunds will be given unless your spot can be filled from the waitlist.
Any leftover funds will be donated to NAMI.
Please keep in mind the Girl Scout Law, specifically being honest about your age level, being respectful to people (NAMI) who are volunteering their time, and being respectful to people who are sharing their experiences during the event.
