Event Description: Join us at Blooming Daisy Homestead for a day of fun and learning. Become an outdoor art creator and explorer by making prints on a bandana using the sun, instruments out of natural items, and making a terrarium to take home. Girl Scouts will earn their Brownie/Junior badge upon completion of this class. This program is open to Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts and their families. The cost is for participating children. The badge, bandana, and terrarium are included in the cost of this class.

 

Grade Levels:  Brownie - Junior

Fees:  GSNCCP Member $21 per Girl Scout  / $0 per adult
Individual / Troop   

Location: Blooming Daisy Homestead, Spring Hope, 27882 

Registration:  July 21, 2026 - September 8, 2026 

 

Adult Supervision:Individual girls attending events must have an adult registered to attend the event with them. If 3 or more girls from the same troop are attending an event, then it is considered a troop event and the number of adults registered to attend should meet the safety ratio in Safety Activity Checkpoints. Any adult attending an overnight event must be a registered Girl Scout member with a completed background check on file. 

 

Event Confirmation Packet/Details: All the details that you need to attend this event can be found in the event confirmation packet. Once it is finalized, you will see it when you go to the My Events page of your My GS account and select the event from the list. All registered participants will also receive a copy via email closer to the event date and after registration closes for the event. Please review the packet at least several days prior to the event so you will have time to adequately prepare for the event and to ask questions, if needed. 

 

Cancellation Policy:

  • For cancellations received by September 4, 2026, we will refund to original method of payment. 

  • For cancellations received between September 5, 2026 and September 18, 2026 we will refund to original method of payment minus $11 cancellation fee. 

  • In case of illness or family emergency, cancellations received by September 29, 2026 will be refunded to original method of payment minus cancellation fees and costs as applicable. 

  • Please send all cancellation requests to helpdesk@nccoastalpines.org. Requests will be processed based on the date received.
