This course is available to all registered girl scouts in Cadettes and up.
Girl participants must have a unique email address on their profile in MyGS. It cannot be the same email address on the profile of the primary guardian. This is the email address that will be used to create an American Red Cross account to complete the online part of the course. Please contact the Help Desk at the number below if you need assistance in updating the email address for your girl participant.
Please bring a towel or mat and a water bottle.
THIS IS AN INSTRUCTOR LED TRAINING. THERE IS NO ONLINE SESSION NEEDED
During the instructor-led portion, participants will participate in "watch-then-practice" and hands-on training. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to recognize emergencies, care for injuries or illnesses, and perform CPR until professional help arrives. Your electronic certificate will be emailed to you by the American Red Cross within 2 weeks after the successful completion of the instructor-led portion of this class.
Please keep in mind that no food or drink will be allowed to be
consumed in class. We ask that participants momentarily step out of
the room to consume any food or drink. Other classroom precautions
will be taken.

Event Confirmation Packet/Details: All the details that you need to attend this event can be found in the event confirmation packet. Once it is finalized, you will see it when you go to the My Events page of your MyGS account and select the event from the list. All registered participants will also receive a copy via email closer to the event date and after registration closes for the event. Please review the packet at least several days prior to the event so you will have time to adequately prepare for the event and to ask questions, if needed.
Cancellation Policy:
For cancellations received by July 17, 2026, we will refund to original method of payment.
In case of illness or family emergency, cancellations received by August 11, 2026 will be refunded to original method of payment minus cancellation fees and costs as applicable.
- There is no refund available for no-shows.
