Daisy's Dozen Guide
This quick guide is an overview of the assessment questions, details and dates.
Daisy’s Dozen troops are invested in not only making the world a better place, but in supporting our council to help troops create an elite Girl Scout Leadership Experience. By completing the annual Daisy’s Dozen Troop Program Year Assessment Tool, staff and administrative volunteers can utilize provided information to make improvements in program support, troop resources, and volunteer training.
What’s more? All members of the troop will receive a special Daisy’s Dozen patch just for turning in the assessment!
This year’s patch was design by a member of one of the 2019-2020 Daisy’s Dozen Elite troops, Isa from Girl Scout Troop #3579.
Each year, 12 troops will be selected from all submitted assessments as Daisy’s Dozen Elite Troops. To be considered for this highly sought-after status, troops must meet the twelve criteria points as outlined in the assessment and share how they went above and beyond in their activities. Troops that demonstrate that their girls helped plan a Girl Scout Leadership Experience that is balanced, multi-faceted and grade appropriate, will rise to the top for consideration.
Daisy’s Dozen Elite Troops receive council-wide recognition for their accomplishments and special opportunities throughout the upcoming program year. It is an honor to hold and while we are proud of all our amazing troops, these troops demonstrate what it truly means to be a leader!
