Just as we’re encouraged by the Girl Scout Law, when we start with
being a sister to EVERY Girl Scout, we can change the world.
It’s important to invest time, talent, and treasure in your Girl
Scout Sisters. With Girl Scouts Give, a new fundraising campaign and
patch program, your troop will:
- Learn what it means to be a philanthropist
- Unite with
other girls across our 41 counties
- Use things you're doing
every day to create good
Nearly 75% of our 41-county service area is designated as
economically distressed. Girl Scouting in these communities is
essential to provide a stable outlet for girls to grow, lead, and
thrive. Furthermore, studies prove the benefits of girl-led leadership
opportunities are greater for girls of lower-socioeconomic status.
We believe Girl Scouting is for every girl, regardless of her
circumstances or her family’s financial situation.
One of the great things about philanthropy is there’s no “right” way
to approach it. Play to your strengths and interests and be creative!
As you go through your philanthropic journey, you can win fun rewards
and even see your troop featured on GS-NCCP social media! You’ll get
more details in your welcome email when you make your pledge, or you
can email us with questions.
