Circle of Friends and Leadership Societies

It takes gifts of both time and money to provide the best program to our girls. Our  Circle of Friends and Leadership Societies recognize donors who give annually and are a vital thread in the fabric of our Council. There are many levels of giving and ways to give.

Each giving level has its own unique benefits. For more information about how to support the Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines please email Emily Hill, Director of Individual giving or contact her at 800-284-4475 x3347.

Planned Giving

For the Future of Girls...and the Girls of the Future

In March of 1912, Juliette Gordon Low gathered a handful of girls and started Girl Scouts. Juliette's outstanding leadership was matched by her stewardship when she converted the carriage house of her home into the first Girl Scout national headquarters which she gifted to Girl Scouts in her will.

Juliette's bequest was the beginning of planned giving to Girl Scouts. In her memory, the Juliette Gordon Low Society was established to thank and honor friends of Girl Scouting who choose to make Girl Scouts part of their legacies and a beneficiary of their estate plans.
