Event Description: Hey, rising middle schoolers! Ready for an amazing adventure into the world of Cadettes? Join us at Camp Mary Atkinson for an exclusive Cadette-only Signature Event designed to introduce you to the exciting world of Girl Scouts at the middle school level.
All registrants will participate in the Middle School Survival Guide workshop, where you'll gain valuable skills to help you navigate the challenges of middle school life. Then, get ready to choose your own outdoor adventure at Camp Mary Atkinson. Whether you're soaring to new heights on the Alpine Tower, perfecting your aim with archery and axe throwing, or gliding across the water on a paddleboard, there's something thrilling for everyone!
Don't miss out, this is your chance to experience all the fun, friendship, and adventure that comes with being a Cadette in Girl Scouts.
Girl Scouts in attendance will receive a fun patch for this event.
Individual girls attending events must have an adult registered to attend the event with them. If 3 or more girls from the same troop are attending an event, then it is considered a troop event and the number of adults registered to attend should meet the safety ratio in Safety Activity Checkpoints.

Adult Supervision: Individual girls attending events must have an adult registered to attend the event with them. If 3 or more girls from the same troop are attending an event, then it is considered a troop event and the number of adults registered to attend should meet the safety ratio in Safety Activity Checkpoints. Any adult attending an overnight event must be a registered Girl Scout member with a completed background check on file.
Event Confirmation Packet/Details: All the details that you need to attend this event can be found in the event confirmation packet. Once it is finalized, you will see it when you go to the My Events page of your My GS account and select the event from the list. All registered participants will also receive a copy via email closer to the event date and after registration closes for the event. Please review the packet at least several days prior to the event so you will have time to adequately prepare for the event and to ask questions, if needed.
Cancellation Policy
- For cancellations received by April 18, 2026, we will refund to original method of payment.
- For cancellations received between April 19, 2026 and May 2, 2026, we will refund to original method of payment minus $ 10 cancellation fee.
- In case of illness or family emergency, cancellations received by May 13, 2026 will be refunded to original method of payment minus cancellation fees and costs as applicable.
- Please send all cancellation requests to helpdesk@nccoastalpines.org. Requests will be processed based on the date received.
