Event Description:

Your next outdoor adventure awaits! Head out to camp with your troop to learn the skills you need to explore the outdoors! Spend time learning about tents, knife safety, navigation, knot tying, first aid, and animal and plant identification. Girl Scouts in attendance will receive a fun patch for this event.

All participants should pack a sack lunch.

Individual girls attending events must have an adult registered to attend the event with them. If 3 or more girls from the same troop are attending an event, then it is considered a troop event and the number of adults registered to attend should meet the safety ratio in Safety Activity Checkpoints.

 

Grade Levels: Daisies - Ambassadors and Adults, Members Only  

Fees: GSNCCP Member $15 per Girl Scout / $5 per adult

Registration:  January 5, 2026 - March 3, 2026

 

 

 

Adult Supervision:Individual girls attending events must have an adult registered to attend the event with them.  If 3 or more girls from the same troop are attending an event, then it is considered a troop event.  For troop events, only the number of adults needed to meet the safety ratio in Safety Activity Checkpoints should register and attend the event.  Any adult attending an overnight event must be a registered Girl Scout member with a completed background check on file. 

 

Event Confirmation Packet/Details: All the details that you need to attend this event can be found in the event confirmation packet.  Once it is finalized, you will see it when you go to the My Events page of your My GS account and select the event from the list.  All registered participants will also receive a copy via email closer to the event date and after registration closes for the event.  Please review the packet at least several days prior to the event so you will have time to adequately prepare for the event and to ask questions, if needed. 

 

Cancellation Policy 

 

  • For cancellations received by February 27, 2026, we will refund to original method of payment. 
  • For cancellations received between February 28, 2026 and March 13, 2026, there will be a $5 cancellation fee. 
  • In case of illness or family emergency, cancellations received by March 24, 2026, will be refunded to original method of payment minus cancellation fees and costs as applicable. 
  • Please send all cancellation requests to helpdesk@nccoastalpines.org. Requests will be processed based on the date received.
