This in-person, day only class teaches volunteers the skills they
need to take their troops overnight camping on council properties in
any of our pre-existing structures.
Prerequisites: Outdoor Adventures: Getting Started
and Outdoor Adventures: Moving Forward (both available in
gsLearn)
You must be a currently registered adult
member with a current criminal background check.
Required For: At least one adult
volunteer in attendance for overnight camping trips. It is recommended
to take at least 6 weeks prior to camping trips and any other activity
as specified in Safety Activity Checkpoints.
Cancellation Policy
For cancellations received by March 11, 2026, we will
refund to original method of payment.
For cancellations received between March 12, 2026 and March 21, 2025, we will refund to the original method of payment minus $10 cancellation fee.
In case of illness or family emergency, cancellations received by
March 30, 2025 will be refunded to the original method of payment
minus cancellation fees and costs as applicable.
