Event Description:  Get ready for an eco-adventure like no other! In this interactive workshop, Girl Scouts will become real-life field agents as they explore the salt marshes, coastal forests, and rocky shores of Wilmington. Girl Scouts will head into the wild and dive into hands-on lab experiments at UNC Wilmington's Center for Marine Science - learning cool science and discovering how to protect the planet along the way!  Through fun, age-level activities, Girl Scouts will also explore Leave No Trace principles and become true nature champions. During the lab session, it's youth-only time, so adults will need to plan something else for the morning.  By the end of this exciting day, participants will have earned their requirements for their Eco Friend, Eco Camper, Eco Trekker, or Eco Explorer badge.
