Event Description: This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and AED courses. The online session will take at least 3.5 hours to complete and may take longer depending on your connectivity and computer speed. Please plan accordingly when taking the online portion.
We do not recommend completing this course on a smartphone.
This course is a blended learning course and combines online learning
with an in-person skill session where you will practice skills and
demonstrate competency. You must complete the online portion of the
training prior to attending the in-person skill session.
You
must provide evidence of your "proceed to skill session"
certification to the class instructor. Please bring a copy of your
"proceed to skill session" certification to the class, email
a copy to your instructor prior to the start of the skills session or
be prepared to show a copy of your certification on your cell phone
prior to the start of class.
Expect to receive your online classroom link by February 2,
2026. If you do not receive the link by February 2, 2026, please check
your Spam or Junk Folder. If after checking your Spam or Junk Folder

You will also receive an email from your instructor with further details about your upcoming course.
Wear comfortable clothing with closed-toed shoes. You will need a towel/ yoga mat or knee pads, a pen or pencil, and paper. Please bring your own lunch and snacks for the day.
Please plan to arrive at 7:30 a.m. to check-in.

Cancellation Policy:
For cancellations received by January 29, 2026, we will refund to the original method of payment.
There is no refund available for no-shows.
For cancellations received January 30, 2026 and after, there is no refund available.
In case of illness or family emergency, cancellations received by February 25, 2026 will be refunded to the original method of payment minus cancellation fees and costs as applicable.
