Event Description:
Girl Talk for Mom and & Me addresses the timely topic of adolescent growth and development and the physical, social and emotional changes that girls experience during puberty. 3-D exhibits, hands-on activities, and candid discussions help moms and daughters explore a range of topics from the workings of the reproductive system to the menstrual cycle to feminine hygiene protection and more. This is a parent and child event. One parent may accompany 2 daughters.

 

 

Grade Levels:  Juniors, GSNCCP Members Only 

Fees:  GSNCCP Member $18 per Girl Scout / $18 per adult 
Individual / Troop

Registration:  January 5, 2026 - March 11, 2025,

 

Adult Supervision: Individual girls attending events must have an adult registered to attend the event with them.  If 3 or more girls from the same troop are attending an event, then it is considered a troop event and the number of adults registered to attend should meet the safety ratio in Safety Activity Checkpoints.  Any adult attending an overnight event must be a registered Girl Scout member with a completed background check on file.

 

Event Confirmation Packet/Details:  All the details that you need to attend this event can be found in the event confirmation packet.  Once it is finalized, you will see it when you go to the My Events page of your My GS account and select the event from the list.  All registered participants will also receive a copy via email closer to the event date and after registration closes for the event.  Please review the packet at least several days prior to the event so you will have time to adequately prepare for the event and to ask questions, if needed.

 

Cancellation Policy 

  • For cancellations received March 6, 2026, we will refund to original method of payment.
  • For cancellations received between  March 7, 2026 and March 20, 2026 we will refund to original method of payment minus $12
  • In case of illness or family emergency, cancellations received by March 31, 2026 will be refunded to original method of payment minus cancellation fees and costs as applicable.
  • Please send all cancellation requests to helpdesk@nccoastalpines.org.  Requests will be processed based on the date received.
