Girls will tour the building, visit the Senate floor, and have the opportunity to take a group photo with Senator Murdock. The morning will also include engaging presentations on the North Carolina legislative branch and its role in state government, along with opportunities to meet legislators, ask questions, and learn firsthand how laws are made. Participants will create a SWAP and earn a fun patch (included). Lunch is not provided; groups may choose to dine together at The Daily Planet Café (121 W. Jones St., Raleigh) or at a location of their choice. Groups are encouraged to spend the afternoon exploring nearby museums and attractions.
