Event Description: Participants MUST already be
certified in Outdoor Adventures: Basic to attend this training.
This is a DAY-ONLY training that will certify participants in
Outdoor Adventures: Extended. It will also include the enrichment
module of Outdoor Adventures: Advanced Cooking.
This
in-person class teaches volunteers the skills they need to take their
troops overnight camping on and off council properties.Advanced
Cooking is an additional enrichment module that will teach
participants different outdoor cooking methods. BOTH classes are a
part of the one fee. There is no option to sign up for just one part
of this course.

Event Confirmation Packet/Details: All the details that you need to attend this event can be found in the event confirmation packet. Once it is finalized, you will see it when you go to the My Events page of your My GS account and select the event from the list. All registered participants will also receive a copy via email closer to the event date and after registration closes for the event. Please review the packet at least several days prior to the event so you will have time to adequately prepare for the event and to ask questions, if needed.
Cancellation Policy
- For cancellations received by April 3, 2026, we will refund to original method of payment.

In case of illness or family emergency, cancellations received by April 28, 2026, will be refunded to original method of payment minus cancellation fees and costs as applicable.
