Event Description:
Come spend an afternoon at Bond Park and learn all about owls, what they eat, and where they fit in the food web. We will learn cool facts about owls, owl calls, and dissect owl pellets to determine what they have been eating and where they are important to our ecosystem. This will be an indoor event. What to bring: Please bring a water bottle. Paperwork: Each girl will need an online waiver signed. These waivers will be sent to parents ahead of time or can be signed at the Community Center on the day of the event.
Grade Levels: Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors
Fees: GSNCCP Member $15 per Girl Scout / $0 per adult

Registration Dates: October 6, 2025 - February 3, 2026
Adult Supervision: Individual girls attending events must have an adult registered to attend the event with them. If 3 or more girls from the same troop are attending an event, then it is considered a troop event and the number of adults registered to attend should meet the safety ratio in Safety Activity Checkpoints. Any adult attending an overnight event must be a registered Girl Scout member with a completed background check on file.
Event Confirmation Packet/Details: All the details that you need to attend this event can be found in the event confirmation packet. Once it is finalized, you will see it when you go to the My Events page of your My GS account and select the event from the list. All registered participants will also receive a copy via email closer to the event date and after registration closes for the event. Please review the packet at least several days prior to the event so you will have time to adequately prepare for the event and to ask questions, if needed.
Cancellation Policy
- For cancellations received by January 24, 2025, we will refund to original method of payment.
- For cancellations received between January 25, 2025 and February 7, 2025, we will refund to original method of payment minus $8.00 cancellation fee.
- In case of illness or family emergency, cancellations received by February 18, 2025 will be refunded to original method of payment minus cancellation fees and costs as applicable.
