Event Description: Come spend an afternoon at Bond Park and learn a variety of Target Sports. Learn to properly throw an Ax, try your hand at an Atlatl, and take your best aim with a Slingshot. We will learn safety and proper handling of all equipment as you give it your best shots. All equipment and instructions are provided. What to bring: Please wear closed-toe shoes. Bring a water bottle. Paperwork: Each girl will need an online waiver signed. These waivers will be sent to parents ahead of time or can be signed at the Community Center on the day of the event.

Registration: January 5, 2026 - March 10, 2026
Adult Supervision:Individual girls attending events must have an adult registered to attend the event with them. If 3 or more girls from the same troop are attending an event, then it is considered a troop event. For troop events, only the number of adults needed to meet the safety ratio in Safety Activity Checkpoints should register and attend the event. Any adult attending an overnight event must be a registered Girl Scout member with a completed background check on file.
Event Confirmation Packet/Details: All the details that you need to attend this event can be found in the event confirmation packet. Once it is finalized, you will see it when you go to the My Events page of your My GS account and select the event from the list. All registered participants will also receive a copy via email closer to the event date and after registration closes for the event. Please review the packet at least several days prior to the event so you will have time to adequately prepare for the event and to ask questions, if needed.
Cancellation Policy
For cancellations recieved by February 28, 2026, we will refund to original method of payment.
For cancellations received between March 1, 2026 and March 14, 2026, we will refund to original method of payment minus $11 cancellation fee.
In case of illness or family emergency, cancellations received by March 25, 2026 will be refunded to original method of payment minus cancellation fees and costs as applicable.
