Event Description:

Join us for a Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) class on June 14, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.. This class is also a special class as we are partnering with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. Through this initiative, all materials are covered, and participants are eligible to receive a ($75 Visa gift) for completing the course!

What is YMHFA you ask?? YMHFA teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adolescents ages 12-18. You'll build skills and confidence you need to reach out and provide initial support to young people who are struggling. You'll also learn how to help connect them to appropriate support! Participants that have taken YMHFA have shared how this class has given them more confidence to be a support for a youth in need!

This course is available to all registered adult members including parents!
