Please read this entire column for additional information BEFORE selecting your number of girl and/or adult participants in the right-hand column on the registration page.

 

Event Description:  
This course meets council requirement for adult volunteers to serve as a Level 2 First Aider and is open to all registered adults and Cadettes/Seniors/Ambassadors who currently hold an American Red Cross, American Heart Association or National Safety Council Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED Certification. WRFA provides individuals with a foundation of first aid principles and skills in order to respond to emergencies and give care in areas 30 minutes or more away from local emergency medical services (EMS) response. This includes wilderness and remote environments, including urban disasters, such as earthquakes and hurricanes.

Location: Raleigh Service Center, Raleigh, 27613

 

Fees: GSNCCP Member $32 per 8th grade Cadettes - Ambassador, $14 per adult 

 

Registration:  August 15, 2025 - October 27, 2025

 

Please note TWO course prerequisites:

* Adults must be a registered Girl Scout member with a current background check
* Possess current adult CPR/AED certification

 

This class is available to currently registered adults with an eligible background check and to currently registered Cadettes/Seniors/Ambassadors with a valid First Aid/CPR/AED certification.

 

Girl participants must be at least 14 years old at the time of the session and have a unique email address on their profile in My GS. 
It cannot be the same email address on the profile of the primary guardian.

The optional Wilderness and Remote First Aid Emergency reference guide is available for an additional $18. 

 

 

There are no lodging opportunities associated with this class and all meals/snacks are the responsibilities of the participants.

 

Dietary restrictions may be indicated below; however, please note that allergens may still be on the premises.

 

Event Confirmation Packet/Details:  All the details that you need to attend this event can be found in the event confirmation packet.  Once it is finalized, you will see it when you go to the My Events page of your My GS account and select the event from the list.  All registered participants will also receive a copy via email closer to the event date and after registration closes for the event.  Please review the packet at least several days prior to the event so you will have time to adequately prepare for the event and to ask questions, if needed. 

 

 

Cancellation Policy

  • For cancellations received by October 24, 2025, we will refund to original method of payment.
  • For cancellations received between October 25, 2025 and November 7, 2025, we will refund to original method of payment minus $14 cancellation fee.
  • In case of illness or family emergency, cancellations received by November 19, 2025 will be refunded to original method of payment minus cancellation fees and costs as applicable.
