Event Description: Girl Scout Cadettes, it's time to practice creating a Girl Scout Silver Award Take Action Project! In this workshop you will work with sample issues to find a root cause, connect with the community, plan a successful project, and plan for sustainability. We'll also look at measurability and global links so you can practice with those concepts. Finally, we'll go over the Girl Scout Silver Award proposal form to get you and/or your team ready to write yours! Bring your ideas and questions - there will be plenty of discussion time! Troop leaders and registered Girl Scout Silver Award volunteers may attend with their Cadettes but will only receive electronic copies of the materials. This workshop is a companion to the GSUSA Girl Scout Silver Award Training modules available to all Girl Scout leaders and Girl Scout Cadettes, and the Girl Scout Silver Award meeting plans in the Volunteer ToolKit.

Once it is finalized, you will see it when you go to the My Events page of your My GS account and select the event from the list. All registered participants will also receive a copy via email closer to the event date and after registration closes for the event. Please review the packet at least several days prior to the event so you will have time to adequately prepare for the event and to ask questions, if needed.
