Troops, grab your safety goggles and get ready for a slimy, messy, explosive weekend! Head out to Camp Mu-Sha-Ni for a weekend full of outdoor scientific experiments. Create your own purfume, watch liquids expand to more than 1000 times their orginal size, make your own science kit and more. It's a crazy weekend full of fun you won't want to miss.

Lunch on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday will be provided. Troops should plan on cooking and providing their own meals for Saturday Breakfast and dinner, as well as packing a sack dinner for Friday night.

Troops must be accompanied by an Outdoor Certified Adult and a First Aid/CPR-certified adult. All adults in attendance must be background checked.
 

Grade Levels:  Brownies - Ambassadors and Adults, GSNCCP Members Only 

Fees:  GSNCCP Member $60 per Girl Scout / $40 per adult

Registration:  January 6, 2025 - April 22, 2025

 

Adult Supervision:Individual girls attending events must have an adult registered to attend the event with them. If 3 or more girls from the same troop are attending an event, then it is considered a troop event and the number of adults registered to attend should meet the safety ratio in Safety Activity Checkpoints. Any adult attending an overnight event must be a registered Girl Scout member with a completed background check on file. 

 

Event Confirmation Packet/Details: All the details that you need to attend this event can be found in the event confirmation packet. Once it is finalized, you will see it when you go to the My Events page of your My GS account and select the event from the list. All registered participants will also receive a copy via email closer to the event date and after registration closes for the event. Please review the packet at least several days prior to the event so you will have time to adequately prepare for the event and to ask questions, if needed. 

 

Cancellation Policy 

  • For cancellations received by April 17, 2025, we will refund to original method of payment. 

  • For cancellations received between April 18, 2025 and May 1, 2025, we will refund to original method of payment minus $30 cancellation fee. 

  • In case of illness or family emergency, cancellations received by May 12, 2025 will be refunded to original method of payment minus cancellation fees and costs as applicable. 

  • Please send all cancellation requests to helpdesk@nccoastalpines.org. Requests will be processed based on the date received.
