Event Description:
TechnoQuest, Girl Scouts-North Carolina Coastal Pines' signature STEM event, returns to Meredith College on November 15, 2025, for an action-packed day of STEM exploration! This year, Girl Scout Juniors-Ambassadors will dive into hands-on workshops covering topics like engineering, chemistry, robotics, and more! Prior to the event, you will receive details about this year's session content and facilitators, giving you the opportunity to choose 2 one-hour workshops that spark your curiosity. So, whether you are interested in making solar s'mores, programing a robot to run through a maze, or experimenting with fragrance to create a bath bomb (all examples of activities from past years) TechnoQuest offers the perfect mix of learning and fun!
Aside from the STEMtastic workshops, the day also includes special activities designed to connect Girl Scouts with female STEM leaders. Juniors will team up with STEM students and professionals for high-energy "Minute to Win-It" challenges, 6th-7th graders will participate in a fast-paced speed mentoring session, and 8th-12th graders will have the chance to grow their network through an engaging panel discussion with STEM professionals and university students. These interactive sessions will take place at designated times throughout the event.
In addition to gaining new skills and making exciting connections, all Girl Scouts will receive a TechnoQuest t-shirt, sponsor swag, lunch, and a of course and custom TechnoQuest patch!
Please note: This is not a drop-off event, and there are several options for adults staying on site. You can choose register to eat lunch, or volunteer as a Room Host (lunch provided). You also have the option to simply enjoy the beautiful campus on your own during the event-no registration required for this option. Adults interested in completing their First Aid and CPR Training (which requires an online module before the event) should register separately under the "Adult TechnoQuest 11-15-2025" activity listing.

Adult Supervision: Individual girls attending events must have an adult registered to attend the event with them. If 3 or more girls from the same troop are attending an event, then it is considered a troop event and the number of adults registered to attend should meet the safety ratio in Safety Activity Checkpoints. Any adult attending an overnight event must be a registered Girl Scout member with a completed background check on file.
Event Confirmation Packet/Details: All the details that you need to attend this event can be found in the event confirmation packet. Once it is finalized, you will see it when you go to the My Events page of your My GS account and select the event from the list. All registered participants will also receive a copy via email closer to the event date and after registration closes for the event. Please review the packet at least several days prior to the event so you will have time to adequately prepare for the event and to ask questions, if needed.
Cancellation Policy
- For cancellations received by October 31, 2025, we will refund the original method of payment.
- For cancellations received between November 1, 2025, and November 14, 2025, there will be a $12 cancellation fee.
- In case of illness or family emergency, cancellations received by November 25, 2025, will be refunded to the original method of payment minus cancellation fees and costs as applicable.
