Upon successful completion of this course, participants will go to
the NRA website and obtain certification as a Range Safety Officer
(RSO) for two years.
The RSO certification itself is a
separate fee of $60 and the participants will pay out-of-pocket
directly to the NRA upon completion of the course to obtain their
certificate. If the participants choose to renew their credentials,
that fee will be $35 every two years.
The $20 course fee covers
the materials for the class.
Participants should bring a
sack-lunch. Sleeping accommodation is available for the night prior to
the course.
This course will be held in a classroom
setting from 8 a.m.- 1 p.m. and then will continue at the BB Gun range
for practical skill practice until 3 p.m. Full participation in the
course is mandatory.
Participants should wear comfortable
clothes, for indoor classroom work, and also have close-toed shoes and
appropriate clothes to shoot BB Guns for the practical portion of the
class.

Cancellation Policy
- For cancellations received by October 12, 2025, we will refund to original method of payment.
- For cancellations received between October 12, 2025 and October 25, 2025 we will refund to the original payment method minus $10 cancellation fee.
- In case of illness or family emergency, cancellations recieved by November, 5, 2025 will be refunded to the original method of payment minus cancellation fees and costs as applicable.
