Event Description: Program Aides complete the Core
Training to learn leadership skills and complete this Leadership
Award. They then serve as PA's, putting their new skills into action
by helping with activities at camporees, day camps, special events,
and troop meetings
.
Girl Scout Cadettes should come
prepared for an afternoon of learning with a pen or pencil, a snack, a
filled reusable water bottle, and a completed TP105.
This event is planned and organized by New Hanover County Service Unit.

Individual/Troop
Location: Wilmington Service Center, Wilmington, 28403
Registration Dates: August 15, 2025 - October 3, 2025
Adult Supervision:Individual girls attending events must have an adult registered to attend the event with them. If 3 or more girls from the same troop are attending an event, then it is considered a troop event and the number of adults registered to attend should meet the safety ratio in Safety Activity Checkpoints. Any adult attending an overnight event must be a registered Girl Scout member with a completed background check on file.
Event Confirmation Packet/Details: All the details that you need to attend this event can be found in the event confirmation packet. Once it is finalized, you will see it when you go to the My Events page of your My GS account and select the event from the list. All registered participants will also receive a copy via email closer to the event date and after registration closes for the event. Please review the packet at least several days prior to the event so you will have time to adequately prepare for the event and to ask questions, if needed.
Cancellation Policy
- For cancellations received by October 9, 2025, we will refund to original method of payment.

For cancellations received after October 9, 2025, we will refund to original method of payment minus $6 cancellation fee.

In case of illness or family emergency, cancellations received by October 22, 2025 will be refunded to original method of payment minus cancellation fees and costs as applicable.
