Event Description:  Join us for a celebration of Girl Scout Founder's Day!  The amazing founder of Girl Scouts loved to spend her birthday celebrating with fellow Girl Scouts and their troops and we'll be doing the same. At this volunteer planned and hosted event, Girl Scouts will enjoy a birthday party style celebration, complete requirements towards a Girl Scout badge or petal, learn about the brilliant Julliette G Low, and so much more. A fun patch is included in the price of the event.

Girl Scouts attending the Founder's Day celebration will need to be accompanied by a chaperone or their troop leader. Girl Scout Troops should stick to Safety Activity Ratios, limiting adults to maximize Girl Scout space.

Please be sure to wear your Girl Scout vest, sash, smock or other gear to show your Girl Scout pride. Parking is at the rear of the building and attendees can enter through the door under the black awning with the Girl Scout insignia.

We will have some snacks that may contain soy, wheat, dairy, or nuts so please be advised for those that have allergies.

After this event ends, attendees are welcome to visit the Trunk or Treat hosted by the New Hanover Service Unit in the parking lot. The Trunk or Treat is open to community members so have siblings or friends meet you there at 3 p.m.!

This event is planned and organized by New Hanover Service Unit volunteers.
