Event Description:

Come spend an afternoon at Bond Park and test your skill and resolve climbing on our High Ropes Challenge Course and Zip Line. There are 2 different skill levels to suit most adventurers. All safety equipment, instructions, and guides are provided. What to bring: Must wear closed-toed shoes. No Crocs. Please wear clothes that are comfortable to climb in. For comfort, no bare mid-riffs or shoulders, girls will be climbing in a full-body harnesses. Shorts are fine. Bring a water bottle and snack. Paperwork: Each girl will need an online waiver signed. These waivers will be sent to parents ahead of time or can be signed at the Challenge Course on the day of the event.

 

Grade Levels:  Cadettes- Ambassador, GSNCCP Members Only

 

Fees:  GSNCCP Member $29.00 per girl / $0 per adult

Location:  Bond Park (Challenge Course Shelter), Cary, 27513

 

Registration Dates: August 11, 2025 - October 7, 2025

 

 

 

Adult Supervision: Individual girls attending events must have an adult registered to attend the event with them.  If 3 or more girls from the same troop are attending an event, then it is considered a troop event and the number of adults registered to attend should meet the safety ratio in Safety Activity Checkpoints.  Any adult attending an overnight event must be a registered Girl Scout member with a completed background check on file.

 

Event Confirmation Packet/Details:  All the details that you need to attend this event can be found in the event confirmation packet.  Once it is finalized, you will see it when you go to the My Events page of your My GS account and select the event from the list.  All registered participants will also receive a copy via email closer to the event date and after registration closes for the event.  Please review the packet at least several days prior to the event so you will have time to adequately prepare for the event and to ask questions, if needed.

 

Cancellation Policy  

 

  • For cancellations received by September 27, 2025, we will refund to original method of payment.
  • For cancellations received between September 28, 2025 and October 11, 2025, we will refund to original method of payment minus $14  cancellation fee.
  • In case of illness or family emergency, cancellations received by October 2, 2025 will be refunded to original method of payment minus cancellation fees and costs as applicable.
  • Please send all cancellation requests to helpdesk@nccoastalpines.org.  Requests will be processed based on the date received.
