Join us at the range and learn how to set up and close
the axe throwing range, how to safely instruct participants and give
tips and tricks to be successful on the range.There are Axe Throwing
ranges at all four of our Camp Properties, available to be used by
Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors (per Safety Activity
Checkpoint guidelines). Adults who complete this training will be
certified in Axe Throwing Instruction for 5 years.
Participants must wear close-toed shoes, appropriate (not too baggy)
clothing and no hanging/dangly jewelry. Long hair must be tied back.
This training takes place outside.
Please bring a water
bottle and any snacks you may need. There is no refrigeration
available. Participants may need to stand for long periods of time but
are permitted to bring a folding chair or another accommodation to
have near the range during training.

Event Confirmation Packet/Details: All the details that you need to attend this event can be found in the event confirmation packet. Once it is finalized, you will see it when you go to the My Events page of your My GS account and select the event from the list. All registered participants will also receive a copy via email closer to the event date and after registration closes for the event. Please review the packet at least several days prior to the event so you will have time to adequately prepare for the event and to ask questions, if needed.
Cancellation Policy
For cancellations received by August 26, 2025, we will refund
to original method of payment.
For cancellations received between August 26, 2025 and
September 6, 2025 we will refund to original method of payment minus
$5 cancellation fee.
In case of illness or family
emergency, cancellations received by September 16, 2025, will be
refunded to original method of payment minus cancellation fees and
costs as applicable.
