 Get certified to bring the love of archery to your troop or
  Service Unit. Learn how to safely handle bows, arrows, and manage and
  teach your Girl Scouts at the same time! This session will prepare
  adults to facilitate archery instruction with a Level 1 certification
  that is valid for three years.
 
 This is a hybrid course
  that includes online and in-person components. Once registration
  closes, you will be sent instructions to the online course. Please do
  not delay starting this course, as it can take 3-5 hours of online
  learning that MUST be completed before the in-person training.
  
 Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the
  course. Participants should be dressed in comfortable clothes that are
  weather/environment appropriate and that can get dirty/wet. This
  course will take place completely outdoors. Please check the weather
  and plan accordingly. Feel free to bring a folding/lawn chair to sit
  in during the course (there is a picnic table available, but if you'd
  like to be more comfortable, bring your own chair). Participants are
  required to wear closed-toed shoes. Participants should bring a full,
  refillable water bottle. Participants need to bring any snacks they
  will need. Refrigeration will not be available. All participants
  attending this event must complete and return the required health
  history forms and waivers prior to the start of the training.

Cancellation Policy
Registration closes 10/14/2025. Refund/Cancellation Guidelines: All
  cancellation and refund requests must be received in writing by this
  date please contact the Customer Care Team at helpdesk@nccoastalpines.org or 800-284-4475.
  
 For cancellations received by October 14, 2025, we will refund
  to original method of payment minus $0 cancellation fee.
 
  For cancellations received between October 14, 2025, and November 1,
  2025, there will be a $40.00 cancellation fee.
 
 In case of
  illness or family emergency, cancellations received by November 7,
  2025, will be refunded to the original method of payment minus
  cancellation fees and costs as applicable.
 
 Please send
  all cancellation requests to helpdesk@nccoastalpines.org. Requests will be
  processed based on the date received.
 
 
 A
  confirmation email will be sent to all participants after registration
  is closed. Refer to the confirmation email for all required forms, to
  print, complete, sign, and bring to the training.
