Event Description:

Prepare to reach new heights as you climb your way to the top of the tower on a day just to climb! Test your skills and see how far you can go! You'll reach new heights, see new sights, and take flight. All you have to do is clip in and climb; this event is designed to push participants out of their comfort zones and try new things. Please note that no participant will ever be forced to climb higher than they are comfortable. Troops must be accompanied by a First Aid/CPR-certified adult. Individually registered girls must be accompanied by a registered parent/caregiver.

 

Grade Levels: Juniors - Ambassadors, Members Only

Registration:   August 11, 2025 - November 4, 2025

 

 

Adult Supervision:Individual girls attending events must have an adult registered to attend the event with them.  If 3 or more girls from the same troop are attending an event, then it is considered a troop event.  For troop events, only the number of adults needed to meet the safety ratio in Safety Activity Checkpoints should register and attend the event.  Any adult attending an overnight event must be a registered Girl Scout member with a completed background check on file. 

 

Event Confirmation Packet/Details: All the details that you need to attend this event can be found in the event confirmation packet.  Once it is finalized, you will see it when you go to the My Events page of your My GS account and select the event from the list.  All registered participants will also receive a copy via email closer to the event date and after registration closes for the event.  Please review the packet at least several days prior to the event so you will have time to adequately prepare for the event and to ask questions, if needed. 

 

Cancellation Policy 

 

  • For cancellations received by October 31, 2025, we will refund to original method of payment. 
  • For cancellations received between November 1, 2025 and November 15, 2025, there will be a $10 cancellation fee. 
  • In case of illness or family emergency, cancellations received by November 26, 2025, will be refunded to original method of payment minus cancellation fees and costs as applicable. 
  • Please send all cancellation requests to helpdesk@nccoastalpines.org. Requests will be processed based on the date received.
