Please read this entire column for additional information BEFORE selecting your number of girl and/or adult participants in the right-hand column on the registration page. 

 

Event Description: Girl Scout Juniors will have fun exploring the Agent of Change Journey. Girls will discover how to use the "power of one" and the "power of team" to create the "power of community" that improves the world.

This would be a great basis for the Bronze Award! Girls need to bring a snack, drinks and sack lunch. Upon completion, girls will receive badge. Girls must participate in each session in order to earn the badge. Troop leaders attend for free and must stay during the entire event. 

 

This event is planned and organized by Troop 7000 volunteers.  

 

Grade Levels:  GSNCCP Juniors & Adults

Fees:  $35 per Girl Scout / $0 per adult   Individual / Troop 

Location:  Raleigh Service Center, Wake Co., 27613

Registration Dates:  April 21, 2025 - October 21, 2025 

 

Adult Supervision:Individual girls attending events must have an adult registered to attend the event with them. If 3 or more girls from the same troop are attending an event, then it is considered a troop event and the number of adults registered to attend should meet the safety ratio in Safety Activity Checkpoints. Any adult attending an overnight event must be a registered Girl Scout member with a completed background check on file. 

 

Event Confirmation Packet/Details: All the details that you need to attend this event can be found in the event confirmation packet. Once it is finalized, you will see it when you go to the My Events page of your My GS account and select the event from the list. All registered participants will also receive a copy via email closer to the event date and after registration closes for the event. Please review the packet at least several days prior to the event so you will have time to adequately prepare for the event and to ask questions, if needed. 

 

Cancellation Policy 

 

  • For cancellations received by September 19, 2025, we will refund to original method of payment. 
  • For cancellations received between September 20, 2025 and October 3, 2025, we will refund to original method of payment minus $18 cancellation fee. 
  • In case of illness or family emergency, cancellations received by October 14, 2025 will be refunded to original method of payment minus cancellation fees and costs as applicable. 
  • Please send all cancellation requests to helpdesk@nccoastalpines.org. Requests will be processed based on the date received.
