While your Girl Scouts are engaged in their TechnoQuest workshops, join us for a special Skill Splash at TechnoQuest to complete the Adult & Child First Aid/CPR/AED certification. Lunch provided.
Additional CPR Workshop Track Information:
The blended First Aid/CPR AED course combines online work and instructor-led practice and skill testing. Participants must be able to complete two and a half (2 1/2) hours of online course work prior to training and be able to print or email proof of completion to the instructor. Proof of course work can also be shown to the instructor using your cellphone. A link to the online training will be immediately available in the Additional Documentation on the event on the My Events page in your My GS account.
During the instructor-led portion, participants will participate in "watch-then-practice" and hands-on training. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to recognize emergencies, care for injuries or illnesses and perform CPR until professional help arrives. Your electronic certificate will be emailed to you by the American Red Cross within 2 weeks after the successful completion of the instructor-led portion of this class.

Event Confirmation Packet/Details: All the details that you need to attend this event can be found in the event confirmation packet. Once it is finalized, you will see it when you go to the My Events page of your My GS account and select the event from the list. All registered participants will also receive a copy via email closer to the event date and after registration closes for the event. Please review the packet at least several days prior to the event so you will have time to adequately prepare for the event and to ask questions, if needed. 

 

Cancellation Policy 

  • For cancellations received by October 31, 2025, we will refund the original method of payment. 
  • For cancellations received between November 1, 2025, and November 14, 2025, there will be a $10 cancellation fee.
  • In case of illness or family emergency, cancellations received by November 25, 2025, will be refunded to the original method of payment minus cancellation fees and costs as applicable.
  • Please send all cancellation requests to helpdesk@nccoastalpines.org. Requests will be processed based on the date received.
