Fall Product Sale
The 2014 Fall Product Sale is a council sponsored program that enables Girl Scout troops to earn funds at the beginning of the Girl Scout year. This year's theme is Be Active! Dive In! featuring our new mascots: a mama and baby otter!
The Fall Product Sale provides an important ingredient for leadership by helping girls develop five skills: goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics. Through Girl Scouting, girls become leaders in their daily lives and prepare for bright futures!
The Fall Product Sale also gives girls and troops the opportunity to sell magazine subscriptions (new and renewals), NEW Photo Keepsake items, and very popular nuts and candy in order to earn quick and easy start-up money for their troop. This friends and family sale is conducted both face-to-face and via the Internet through a secure program.
Keep reading to learn everything you need to know to join the Fall Sale. We hope your girls join us as we look forward to our best Fall Sale yet!
Girl Scout Daisy and Brownie troops will earn 10% of all sales, as well as cool patches and cumulative recognitions. Girl Scout Junior, Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador troops can choose the 10% proceeds plan with patches and recognitions, or can opt to receive 15% in proceeds and patches, in lieu of recognitions.
Returning This Year
Treats for Troops! This program gives girls the opportunity to support our military troops by collecting donations that go towards purchasing and delivering nuts and candies to local military bases. Providing a taste of home has never been so sweet! Girls with 5 or more Treats for Troops orders will earn a special patch!
Sweet Success 100th Club – a special club for our Girl Scouts who sell 100 items (magazines, nuts and/or photo keepsakes) or more in the Fall Sale. Earn a special patch and awesome recognitions as part of this exclusive club including a night on the town with dinner and a movie ($25 restaurant gift card plus $25 movie theater gift card).
New This Year
Online Nut Store! Our online store will feature not only magazines, but Ashdon Farm’s full line of nuts and candies. All of these items will be available to order and ship anywhere in the US (shipping and handling may apply for some items).
As part of the QSP/Nut Online Program, emails to friends and family will now include the option for customers to order, pay for and have nuts and candy delivered to their home/business. All 25 Girl Scout nut, candy and chocolate items will be available as well as 5 gift items (NC Coastal Pines features the 12 most popular items on the order card). Troops earn proceeds for every item sold online with all sales being reported on the Girl’s Online Sales Report (GOSR).
New! Photo Keepsakes! There’s a brand new, easy way for family and friends to support Girl Scouts. Our new program offers a great way to help people preserve and share their memories with personalized photo keepsakes using the photos they have stored on computers, mobile devices, Facebook and Instagram. Friends and family can now order photo keepsakes such as photobooks, holiday cards, posters, calendars and more. These items can be ordered online or by using paper order forms and will be delivered directly to the customer. Don't forget that these items make perfect holiday gifts! As a Thank You for participating in the Fall Sale, all troops that have 30% of registered girls participating in the Fall Sale will receive a certificate for a FREE photobook so they can create their own Troop Yearbook!
