About the Fall Product Program
Fall Product Program
The Fall Product Program provides an important ingredient for leadership by helping girls develop five skills: goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics. Through Girl Scouting, girls become leaders in their daily lives and prepare for bright futures!
The Fall Product Program also gives girls and troops the opportunity to sell magazine subscriptions (new and renewals) and very popular nuts and candies in order to earn quick and easy start-up money for their troop. This friends and family sale is conducted both face-to-face and via the Internet through a secure program.
To participate, girls need to sign up and create an account through our online vendor, M2M Media as well as submit their Product Sales Permission form. Keep reading to learn everything you need to know to join the Fall Product Program.
Girl Scout Daisy and Brownie troops will earn 10% of all sales, as well as cool patches and cumulative recognitions. Girl Scout Junior, Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador troops can choose the 10% proceeds plan with patches and recognitions, or can opt to receive 15% in proceeds and patches, in lieu of recognitions.
New This Year
100 Years of Selling! 2017 marks the 100th anniversary of girls selling Girl Scout Cookies and the celebration is kicking-off early with the Fall Product Program. Girls will have the opportunity to earn a special 100 Years of Selling avatar patch by participating in both the 2016 Fall Product Program and the 2017 Girl Scout Cookie Program.
Earning this patch happens in two parts. First, girls must participate in the 2016 Fall Product Program, create a digital avatar, and send 12 or more emails letting customers know about the sale. Second, girls must participate in the 2017 Cookie Program and sell 300 or more boxes of cookies. That's it!
Once the patch is earned, girls will receive their anniversary edition avatar patch, which will be directly mailed to them.
New Training Resource! This year parents and volunteers will have access to Just In Time (JIT) training videos for our Fall Product Program, including how to use the M2M Media vendor platform. These videos were very popular during the Cookie Program providing must-know-information in mere minutes! This resource will be available in late-summer/early fall.
Even More Digital Avatars Available! Girls loved creating their very own digital avatars last year and this year there are even more wardrobe and accessory assets to select when customizing avatars. Girls will be able to make their digital avatars unique and representative of their individual personalities and profiles.
We <3 S'mores! A Girl Scout tradition is coming to the Fall Product Program. Customers will now be able to purchase an exciting new treat - a special s'more mix featuring chocolate, graham crackers, and marshmallow in an adorable and reusable Girl Scout mason jar. More information coming soon!
Returning This Year

Extending Online Sales! Extending the online sale last year saw BIG results and was well received by both girls and customers. Due to popular demand, this year's online portion of the sale will be extended again so girls can continue to work towards their goals and hone their financial literary skills. Additionally, Treats for Troops can be ordered separately online from the beginning to the end of the sale allowing girls to reach their desired recognition level and reap the rewards of all their hard work.
Treats for Troops! This program gives girls the opportunity to support our military troops by collecting donations that go towards purchasing and delivering nuts and candies to local military organizations. Providing a taste of home has never been so sweet! Girls with five or more Treats for Troops orders will earn a special patch!
Sweet Success 100th Club – a special club for our Girl Scouts who sell 100 items (magazines and/or nuts and candies) or more in the Fall Product Program. Earn a special patch and awesome recognitions as part of this exclusive club including a night on the town with dinner and a movie ($25 restaurant gift card plus $25 movie theater gift card).
