Outdoor Skills Overnight - Part 2 - Pitt Co 1-9-14

Troops who participate in camping activities are required to have an Outdoor skills certified adult.

Outdoor skills is offered in 2 parts - a planning session AND an overnight component where adults will learn how to prepare and implement a successful Girl Scout camping trip! Troop leaders may recruit parents/helpers to take this course and serve as the outdoor-trained adult. Both parts must be completed in order to be an outdoor trained troop adult!

Outdoor-trained volunteers must be registered members & have successfully completed a criminal background check through the council. Both of these items need to be completed prior to registering for training.

Volunteer essentials is highly recommended for non-leaders prior to the outdoor skills class.

The Planning Session will take place at Pitt Community College.
