First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Course 2/8/14 - 2/9/14
Provides certification to meet the requirements of a First Aid /CPR/AED Instructor. This is an American Red Cross class.
Class will meet 8 am - 5 pm on Saturday, February 8, 2014 and Sunday, February 9, 2014 in the Commons Room at the Raleigh Service Center. Participants who have registered for the Babysitter Instructor Crossover Course will stay until 6pm on Sunday.
Participants will break for lunch. Meals will not be provided. A small kitchen is available.
Pre-Requisites for First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor
•Current certification in Adult, Child and Infant First Aid, CPR and AED through American Red Cross, American Heart Association or the National Safety Council
•Complete online Orientation to the American Red Cross
•Complete online Orientation to First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Course
•Pass online pre-course test
•Obtain and review a copy of the new student manual
Receive written approval from Volunteer Services Department
Understand that this course obligates the participant to teach two courses per year for Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines.
Additional Pre-Requisites for Babysitter’s Training Instructor (optional)
•Complete instructor pre-course self-study
•Obtain and review student manual
