Lunch will not be provided. All particpants should bring a sack lunch with them to this event.
It's time to become a Citizen Scientist! Girl Scout Ambassadors will embark on their Citizen Scientist Journey by investigating the skills that scientists use when conducting research. You'll learn about the scientific method, test your observation and critical thinking skills and participate in a special project from SciStarter!

Registration: October 7, 2024- November 25, 2024
Adult Supervision: Individual girls attending events must have an adult registered to attend the event with them. If 3 or more girls from the same troop are attending an event, then it is considered a troop event. For troop events, only the number of adults needed to meet the safety ratio in Safety Activity Checkpoints should register and attend the event. Any adult attending an overnight event must be a registered Girl Scout member with a completed background check on file.
Event Confirmation Packet/Details: All the details that you need to attend this event can be found in the event confirmation packet. Once it is finalized, you will see it when you go to the My Events page of your My GS account and select the event from the list. All registered participants will also receive a copy via email closer to the event date and after registration closes for the event. Please review the packet at least several days prior to the event so you will have time to adequately prepare for the event and to ask questions, if needed.
Cancellation Policy
- For cancellations received by January 24, 2025, we will refund to original method of payment.
- For cancellations received between January 25, 2025 and February 7, 2025, we will refund to original method of payment minus $15.00 cancellation fee.
- In case of illness or family emergency, cancellations received by February 18, 2025 will be refunded to original method of payment minus cancellation fees and costs as applicable.
