Membership Director 

Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines is looking for an enthusiastic, highly organized, creative, detail oriented and a self-motivated individual to join our Membership Team. Primary responsibilities include recruitment and retention of girl membership and volunteers in assigned area. Experience and exceptional skill sets in marketing and sales, recruitment, volunteer support, customer service, communication and community cultivation necessary. This is a full-time position; some evenings and weekends are required. Spanish-language skills a plus.

Community Outreach Specialist -  (Orange and Person Co.)- Part time TEMPORARY position

Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines is looking for an energetic, fun and creative individual who relates and understands the development needs of youth and who enjoys working with girls. As a Community Outreach Specialist you would be responsible for the development and implementation of age appropriate programs designed to build leadership, self-esteem, assist girls in developing new skills, and promote team building. 

Requirements:

  • High School diploma and experience leading program activities with school-aged children. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Candidates must have ability to manage small budgets and a commitment to providing quality customer service. 
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Daily transportation and meet council automobile insurance requirements. 
  • Complete required Background check.
  • Work with groups of 20 or more girls at a time.
  • Creative, dynamic and makes learning fun for girls ages 5-18.
  • Detail oriented, flexible and professional.
  • Experience working with children is a must.

Outreach Specialist -  (Nash County)- Part time TEMPORARY position 10-15 hours per week

Girl Scouts North Carolina Coastal Pines is looking for an energetic, fun and creative individual who relates and understands the development needs of youth and who enjoys working with girls. As a programming assistant you would be responsible for the development and implementation of age appropriate programs designed to build leadership, self-esteem, assist girls in developing new skills, and promote team building. Must be able to work with upwards of 20 girls at a time and ensure their safety by enforcing appropriate safety regulations and emergency procedures. Applicants must be a high school graduate and have reliable transportation.
