Join the Fun, Join Girl Scouts!

It’s not too late for your daughter to become involved in Girl Scouts! For more information on joining or starting a Girl Scout troop in Pamlico County please call 800-558-9297, ext. 108.

My girl is interested in joining Girl Scouts in Pamlico County.

Make a difference in the life of a girl…volunteer.

Pamlico County is seeking adult volunteers to lead girls between the ages of 5-17 in exciting events, enriching programs, and endless opportunities. Adult women and men, age 18 and older, are invited to join Girl Scouts as volunteers. Girl Scout membership dues are $10 annually; training and local support are provided; and meetings and activities can fit your schedule.

Adults are encouraged to register as Girl Scout members and can serve in many volunteer positions available to both women and men. Our volunteers are inspiring, invaluable, and they have a profound effect on everyone they help. There would be no Girl Scouting without them!

I’m interested in becoming a Pamlico County Girl Scout volunteer.

Troop News

  • June 16 was "Girl Scout Night" at the River Rats game.  The girls cheered on the River Rats as they played an exhibition game against the Military All-Stars.  Earlier in the day the girls attended a clinic with some of the River Rats players and brushed up on their baseball skills.
  • Girl Scout Troop #424 voted to use their Cookie Sale profits to attend a "Spa Day" at Kaboodles in New Bern this past June. The girls got a facial and a manicure, then each made a special friend to take home.
  • Girls from Daisy Girl Scout Troop #1004 and Brownie Girl Scout Troop #424 opened the Trent Woods Town Meeting in June by saying the Pledge of Allegiance.
