Girl Scouts - NC Coastal Pines
VOLUNTEER Services

Annual Adult Recognitions Program
4th Annual Meeting Luncheon
March 5, 2011

Girl Scouts – North Carolina Coastal Pines counts our esteemed volunteers as one of our greatest assets. Our volunteers are caring, dedicated and talented women and men who serve in various capacities throughout the council to ensure that every girl can benefit from the Girl Scout experience. Whether working directly with the girls or indirectly through the support of other adults in their volunteer service, these individuals are truly helping to further the mission of Girl Scouting.

Each year at our Annual Meeting, the Council is honored to recognize and applaud the efforts of volunteers by way of presenting awards for outstanding service. What makes this recognition so inspiring and meaningful is that the honorees have been nominated by their peers for going above and beyond the expectations of their position descriptions.

The men and women we honor do not volunteer in search of recognition – they volunteer because they want to share their passion for Girl Scouting with the girls in our council so that they may become girls of "courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place."

Congratulations and many, many thank yous to each of you for all you do to help girls discover, connect and take action to make their world, and our world, a better place.
