Girl Scouts Receive Donation from Kids 'N Community Foundation

Raleigh, NC – Girl Scouts – North Carolina Coastal Pines is pleased to announce that it has received a donation from the Carolina Hurricanes Kids 'N Community Foundation. The donation will help support the uniquely ME! Girl Scout Self-Esteem program, which aims to address the challenges girls face in their daily lives, in addition to helping girls build a strong sense of self, develop healthy relationships and take care of their bodies and minds.

“Just last year more than 7,000 girls from Girl Scouts – North Carolina Coastal Pines experienced the benefits of the uniquely ME! Program,” states Rusine Mitchell Sinclair, Girl Scouts – North Carolina Coastal Pines CEO. “With this generous donation from the Kids 'N Community Foundation, we will be able to deliver the program to so many more young women, particularly among those with limited resources, in many of the 41 counties we serve.”
