Local girl scouts featured in national photo shoot
october 2011
In late September, close to 75 girls and adult volunteers from across central and eastern North Carolina went to Wilmington and Kure Beach to be part of ABC Bakers' two-day photo shoot for next year's cookie program marketing materials. ABC Bakers had chosen Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines to be the -- and so our girls got to be real, live models.
It was a great opportunity for our girls to learn about photography -- both behind and in front of the camera. And it will be a great opportunity for our council to 'show off' next year when councils all across the country use pictures of our girls as they prepare for the 2012 cookie program sale. News 14 Carolina did a great story about the photo shoot.
