Summary: Morgan and Sarah created and hosted a writing workshop for Girl Scout Juniors. They also organized a book drive and donated the books to WakeMed Children's Hospital.

Title: 2011 Savannah Mission Trip
Summary: Members of Girl Scout Troop #1258 collected donations for the Boys and Girls Club of Savannah, Ga. The girls delivered the toys and craft supplies to the club and spent time each morning doing planned activities with the kids. They started over 100 lanyards and taught the kids how to make them. In the afternoons they volunteered at the Second Harvest Food Pantry.

Title: Booktastic Summer
Summary: Kristen, Kaitlyn and Breanna addressed literacy for their Silver Award Project. The girls set up reading centers and read books to children at the Youth Center on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. After reading and discussing the book, the children made a craft that complemented the theme of the book. They also conducted a book drive and donated books to the Youth Center at the completion of the project.

Title: Color/Activity Health Books
Summary: Ashley developed three different activity books targeting different age groups for children to play with when they are waiting to see a doctor. The activities in the book provide entertainment and health tips. Master copies were left at offices so the staff could reproduce them when needed.

Summary: Alexandra's Silver Award Project addressed overcrowded after school programs. She planned educational activities and played games with third through fifth graders at the Boys and Girls Club in Sandhills.

Summary: Members of Girl Scout Troop #611 planned a Spring Encampment for Girl Scouts in Nash County and the Edgecombe County - Rocky Mount area. The encampment included a camping trip, nine stations for exercise and dance, crafts, and a relay race activity.

Summary: Members of Troop #851 planned a community/school garden and planted a small vegetable garden. Their initiative helped start Pitt County's first community garden, where the girls also volunteered service hours.

Title: Giving Pre-Schoolers Their Wings
Summary: Hannah, Madeleine, and Alexandra wanted to do a project that combined their love of birds and young children. They decided to teach preschoolers about native North Carolina birds. Two preschools were selected: Triangle Academy Preschool in Cary and Little Dreamers in Holly Springs. They pruned existing bushes, planted new plants, and installed bird feeders and a bird bath so the children could see the birds from their classroom windows. They also made suet feeders to attract the birds. Presentations were given to three- and four-year-olds at each preschool about how to attract birds and care for them. The children were each given a bird house to paint and take home.

Title: Uniform Drive for Oaks Road
Summary: Anne realized that Oaks Road Elementary School was low on uniforms. She typed up a flyer and distributed it to her neighborhood and helped the school by donating uniforms.

Title: Game Room Makeover
Summary: Members of Girl Scout Troop #1781 renovated the game room at Hudson Memorial Presbyterian Church. The room is used by children in first through fifth grades during their Sunday School programs each week. The girls wanted the room to be brighter. The repaired some water damage on one wall and repainted the room. The walls were decorated with three tic-tac-toe boards, a Bible verse, and a Scrabble board.

Title: Children's Activity Center
Summary: Members of Girl Scout Troop #1168 decided to place children's activity centers in four locations in Robeson County. The girls felt that it would encourage reading in young children and give them something to do while sitting in a waiting room. They organized a book drive and placed bookcases full of books at Southeastern Family Violence Center, Robeson County Church and Community Center, Coastal Speech Center, and the Robeson County Health Department.

Summary: Members of Girl Scout Troop #558 organized a clothing drive for women at Interact. The girls also made jewelry to donate to the agency.

Title: Cleaning Up Historical Cemeteries
Summary: Elyscia helped clean up the Confederate Women's Cemetery in Fayetteville. Participants met on Saturday mornings to clear out weeds and shrubs and to prune. They removed more than 4,000 pounds of debris. They also mulched and cleaned stones.

Title: Self-Esteem Can Save the World: Be Uniquely U!
Summary: Maya addressed the issue of peer pressure and low self-esteem/self-confidence in middle school and high school girls. She wrote a play and, with the help of several actresses presented it at a workshop for girls. A PowerPoint presentation entitled "Bullying Stops Here!" was also shown to participants. A homework sheet was sent home to start families talking about the issue.

Title: Generation to Generation
Summary: Christian addressed how teenagers need to reach out more to the older and younger generations in the community. Through her project, she was able to tutor a younger student and she also volunteered at Cary Health & Rehabilitation Center by playing bingo with the residents.

Title: Area Food Pantry Informational Pamphlet
Summary: Members of Girl Scout Troop #919 created a pamphlet listing the local food banks in the area, their addresses, contact information, and hours of operation. The pamphlets were distributed to the local food banks and school counselors. The girls also organized food drives and volunteered at local food banks.

Title: Educational Garden & Rain Barrel
Summary: Members of Girl Scout Troop #3836 planted eight raised garden beds at Brassfield Road Elementary School. A planting bed was installed for each grade level as a live model of what the students are studying in science. The girls also installed a rain barrel. Members of Brassfield's GREEN TEAM will be responsible for maintaining the gardens with water from the rain barrel.

Title: Rand Road Elementary School Observation Deck Restoration
Summary: Lauren and Siiri, of Girl Scout Troop #1558, restored an observation deck for the students at Rand Road Elementary School. The girls also added benches to the deck so the students could sit and observe nature. They cleared the path to the deck and built steps or landings in steep areas.

Title: Bethesda Church Recycling
Summary: Ashtyn developed a recycling plan for her church which included placing plastic recycling containers in various locations around the church. She also made two wooden covers to go over recycling containers in the sanctuary for recycling bulletins.

Title: Helping Hands for the Homeless
Summary: Members of Girl Scout Troop #948 addressed the unique needs of homeless children in Moore County. The girls cleaned up the playground at Family Promise, stocked toy boxes for their transitional living apartments and painted a painting to go in the facility.

Title: Movie Gals Milk Cookies
Summary: Life is so busy that mothers and daughters do not have enough time together. Therefore, Lauren planned a mother/daughter event. Participants entered the event walking a red carpet and received a little Oscar. They came dressed in their pajamas and watched a movie with their mom. Other activities included SWAPS, cards for soldiers, picture sessions with friends and mom, and refreshments.

Summary: Andrea organized a shoe drive to benefit Share Our Shoes in Raleigh. Andrea collected 507 pairs of shoes. She now volunteers at Share Our Shoes on a regular basis.

Title: Wake 19 Bridge to Juniors at Ritter Park
Summary: Rebecca and Catherine, of Girl Scout Troop #1761, organized the Wake 19 Bridge to Junior Sci-Fit to host fitness and science centers for Girl Scout Brownies to complete the requirements for the Girl Scout Junior Science Discovery and Fun & Fit badges. This event allowed third-year Brownies an opportunity to see what being a Girl Scout Junior is like. Participants earned two badges and donated 125 pairs of shoes to the Soles for Souls program. The highlight of the day was the bridging ceremony for the Girl Scout Brownies to Girl Scout Juniors.

Title: Acceptance, Inclusion, Tolerance, and Diversity
Summary: Jessica taught younger children to accept, tolerate, include, and appreciate diversity everywhere. She worked with children at St. Michael's Sunday School to make placemats that were given to people at the Raleigh Rehabilitation Center.

Summary: Ashley and Rebecca addressed children's literacy. They recorded 10 books on CD to be used by the students at Castle Hayne Elementary School. The recordings were added to the school website so teachers could download them as needed. Recording instructions were also added to the website.

Title: Just for Youth
Summary: Kelli converted a large storage area into a youth group area at her church. She cleaned the room, asked for donations, painted, and shopped for items for the room. This space provides a meeting and fellowship area for youth at her church.

Summary: Kelsey provided books to the Ronald McDonald House in Chapel Hill. She organized a book drive and loaded up two book cases donated to her with books for adults and young adults. Also, for a nominal fee, she purchased two magazine racks from Habitat for Humanity, restored and repainted them and organized the magazines at the Ronald McDonald House.

Summary: Ashlyn helped organize the kids walk at the Relay for Life 2011. She gathered some songs, walked with the kids, made necklaces and popcorn, and shot videos.

Summary: Cassidy collected books and games for WakeMed Hospital. She also made pillows and walker bags for the patients. Cassidy spent time at the hospital playing games with the patients and showing them how to use the items she had made.

Title: Bullying/Cyberbullying
Summary: Emily and Morgan developed a presentation to present to elementary and middle schoolers to educate them about bullying and cyberbullying. They created a packet which included a PowerPoint presentation, DVDs of resources, copies of group activities and handouts and suggested agendas. This packet will be provided to the Girl Scout Council and some local schools. They presented their project to Girl Scout Troop #882, Cub Scout Pack #10 (2nd year Weblos) and Girl Scout Troops #314 and #330.

Title: July 4th Animal Fun Run
Summary: The girls organized an Animal Fun Run on July 4th to promote animal care awareness and community fitness. Participants learned about animal safety and care. They also donated supplies, which were given to Paws4Ever, a no-kill animal shelter. Approximately $200 in supplies was donated.

Title: Kick It Like A Girl Scout
Summary: Natalie organized and led a girls' soccer camp at the Town Field in Elizabethtown. She taught the girls several soccer skills, as well as ways to stay hydrated and how to eat healthy. As an entry fee, participants were asked to bring new or slightly used soccer equipment that was donated to the Bladen County Parks and Recreation Department for the Recreational Fall Soccer League.

Title: Cleaning Up Historical Cemeteries
Summary: The girls cleaned up the Confederate Women's Cemetery and the Gee Family plot in Fayetteville. These cemeteries were neglected and in bad shape. They filled 75 to 80 large bags with yard waste (about 4,000 pounds in all). They gained an appreciation of history and sent a letter to the legislator requesting better care for these old cemeteries.

Title: Whistle Stop Collection
Summary: Rebekah collected clothes, furniture, and other items for the Whistle Stop Thrift Shop. The goods are cleaned, sorted, and sold to the local military community.  Profits from the goods sold are used to fund scholarships and grants. Materials from the Whistle Stop Thrift Shop are also donated to a local group of refugees and local community thrift shops after natural disasters.

Title: Toiletries Drive
Summary: Members of Girl Scout Troop #558 organized a toiletry drive to benefit women at Interact and the Raleigh Rescue Mission. They made more than 100 fabric bags to distribute the products they collected to the women at the two organizations.

Summary: Members of Girl Scout Troop #558 collected books and recorded them on tape for children learning how to read. The books and tapes will be given to kindergarten and first grade students at Hope Charter School in downtown Raleigh. The children will be able to take the tapes home with them.

Soda Bottle Science
Summary: Chelsea and Alexis organized a one-week Girl Scout camp for girls ages five through nine. "Soda Bottle Science" allowed girls to see that learning about science can be fun. Among other activities, the girls did science experiments every day, and one day they brought in a speaker for the campers.

Title: Raise Awareness and Save the Frogs!
Summary: The goal of Rachel's project was to raise awareness of the declining amphibian population. Rachel helped organize activities relating to frogs during a week of events at Ravenscroft School for the Lower and Middle Schools. Activities included a trivia contest, coloring and crossword activities, a battery recycling drive, and two speakers. She provided an interactive exhibit at the N.C. Museum of Natural Science Reptile and Amphibian Day. She has asked the governor to declare a Save The Frogs Day in North Carolina.

Title: Nutrition Activity Book for Children of Domestic Violence Victims
Summary: Members of Girl Scout Troop #919 created an activity book that taught healthy nutrition in a fun way to children staying in the local domestic violence shelter. The booklet provides information such as good eating habits for parents, as well. The girls also volunteered their time at Families First doing various jobs. They had canned food drives and went to local food banks to stock shelves.

Summary: Sarah and Marie, of Girl Scout Troop #655, planned and led The Army Reserve Family Day on July 9, 2011. The event focused on military kids. Activities included face painting and a cake walk.

Title: Fill a Backpack, Fill a Mind
Summary: Parker organized a drive to collect school supplies at her church and at the local ACE Hardware store. She collected more than 200 items, including 12 backpacks, hundreds of crayons and markers, and almost 80 notebooks and folders. Working with the Backpack Buddies volunteer coordinator at North Ridge Elementary School she provided the supplies to 14 kids, and there were leftover supplies for mid-year replenishing.

Title: Service Project Web Pages
Summary: Working with the Town of Wake Forest and using her photography skills, Kayla took pictures of community service projects that needed to be done on the greenways in Wake Forest. She created pages with the pictures and a description of the different work projects and sent it to the Town of Wake Forest. The town webmaster will add it to the existing website. Kayla feels people would be willing to help if they know where to start.

Title: Recycling for Chemotherapy
Summary: Elizabeth and Abby raised awareness for recycling and provided joy to others. The girls placed donation boxes in businesses around Holly Springs to collect old gift cards. They collected 453 cards, which they cut into circles and made bracelets. The bracelets were then donated to women undergoing chemotherapy treatment.

Summary: Sydney collected old T-shirts and quilt batting and used them to make cat beds and dog toys for the local SPCA. She donated 20 cat beds and 30 dog toys.

Title: Hinton Tool Boxes
Summary: Rachel and Megan collected tools and built tool boxes for the Hinton Rural Life Center in Hayesville. Hinton Rural Life Center is a mission camp in the mountains of North Carolina. Every summer they send out work teams to help low income residents in the community with projects at their homes. The girls built and painted five tool boxes and supplied them with a large amount of assorted tools from their tool drive.

Title: Literacy and Learning
Summary: Members of Girl Scout Troop #1841 organized a drive for books and school supplies for students at Weatherstone Elementary School. The girls built bookcases and collected 325 books for preschool students, 350 books for K-2 students, and 315 books for third through fifth grade students. They filled 24 backpacks with school supplies and provided additional supplies that can be used throughout the year. They read with the children at Avent Children's mentoring After-School Program and the Carying Place. The books and backpacks were given to the students to take home.

Title: Herb Garden for the Charles House
Summary: Maya planted and cared for an herb garden at the Charles House, a senior center that has recently located in her neighborhood. She also made a book with instructions on how to take care of herbs and suggestions about what to do with them. Maya continues to visit the Charles House residents.

Title: Teaching the Community about the Environment
Summary: Bridget addressed environmental awareness by doing several projects. She volunteered at Crowder Park's annual Frog Fest by providing an educational game for children about camouflage. She organized a trash pickup at Falls Lake camping grounds with her troop. Finally, she set up a table of animals found in the environment around Yates Mill for the Yates Mill annual Harvest Festival. Many people came by the table to see and touch the animals.

Title: Healthy Inside & Out!
Summary: Cortney and Katie, of Girl Scout Troop #231, organized two sleepovers for 17 younger Girl Scouts to teach them healthy living habits. During the sleepovers, the girls taught them soccer, volleyball, cheers and dance. They offered First Aid lessons and provided healthy snacks and breakfast.

Summary: Meghan loves to crochet, so she created a club to teach kids how to crochet. The club ran for several weeks at the local library.

Title: Apex Police Department Soft Room
Summary: The Apex Police Department has a "soft interview room" for kids that are victims of crime or their parents have been victims of crime. Greta made the room a kid-friendly, welcoming place where kids know they are safe. She collected donations of toys and art supplies to stock the room and built a table for the kids to sit and draw.

Title: Beautification of Sampson Middle School (SMS) Atrium
Summary: Members of Girl Scout Troop #1303 cleaned up the atrium at Sampson Middle School. The girls cleaned, scraped, and painted the walls. They dug out the old plants and planted low-care new plants. They had the cement floor painted and created art work for the walls using recycled maps and metal. A Periodic Chart magnet set was created for eighth grade teachers to use.

Title: Small Bags of Love
Summary: Members of Girl Scout Troop #919 organized a food drive to provide food bags for needy children ages 5-8 at Whiteville Primary School.  The children take the food bags home on the weekends. The girls' project will be sustained by two area churches which have agreed to maintain food donation boxes at their churches. The Whiteville Primary School staff has agreed to distribute the food to needy children at the school on a monthly basis.

Summary: Members of Girl Scout Troop #3015 raised money to benefit Red Cross relief efforts for the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. The girls planned and hosted a kid's carnival, silent auction, and dinner at St. James United Methodist Church. Two additional dinners were held the following month to raise more money.

Title: Journaling Program
Summary: Bailey started an art journaling program for patients at the NC Cancer Hospital Patient and Family Resource Center. Using journaling, patients will be able to express their feeling during a difficult time in their lives. Bailey collected donations of journals and supplies. Members of her troop and her school journaling club helped her decorate the opening pages of the journals. She also made an instruction card on how to journal and put bags together to provide patients with the journals and supplies to get them started.

Title: Frank Porter Graham Elementary School Garden
Summary: Katie and Maya, of Girl Scout Troop #1280, built a fence around a garden at Frank Porter Graham Elementary School for the science teacher. The fence will protect the students from a nearby road and keep the deer out. The fence is seven feet tall, and the girls decorated it with pretty painted signs.

Summary: Danielle addressed the problem of illiteracy among children. She did several things around her community to help, including reading to kids, recording stories, collecting books, and making books and games.

Summary: Ashby helped transfer all of the books from Pinehurst Elementary School to the school that will be used for the 2011-2012 year. She also helped set up the computerized library and Accelerated Reader accounts for the students.

Summary: Patrice conducted a Self-Esteem Workshop called "Finding YOUrself" at the Garner Road Community Center for female and male participants. Her key objectives were to make participants aware of negative traits affecting one's self esteem and to provide alternatives to increasing self-esteem through positive activities. She used the "PAY IT FORWARD" concept to educate the youth so as to influence their behavior and self-awareness. Her workshop on self-esteem has inspired the community center to start a Girl Scout program!

Title: NC History Jeopardy Game
Summary: Emilie created North Carolina History Jeopardy to review eighth grade history. The three games are based on the material taught in each quarter. The interactive games are designed to enhance the students' knowledge for this subject, so they will be better prepared for high school history.

Title: Fostering Fosters: Developing Community Awareness of the Plight of Homeless Animals
Summary: Mary addressed the plight of homeless and abandoned animals in our area. She recruited two new foster families for Paw Prints Animal Rescue, a private rescue agency. She helped to see that 30 animals were properly vaccinated, spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and placed in "Furr-ever" homes. In working with Paw Prints Animal Rescue, Mary was able to promote and discuss the necessity of spaying and neutering pets with the public at adoption events. She also organized a food and supplies drive for Paw Prints Animal Rescue.

Title: End-of-Grade Tutorial
Summary: Breia's Silver Award Project addressed preparation for the End-of-Grade test in science. Classes were taught at her church on Saturday mornings. She provided group and one-on-one tutoring for the EOG test for sixth through eighth graders. First, students took the test to determine their knowledge. Summary: Several members of Girl Scout Troop #1605 have been touched by cancer in their families, and the girls wanted to do something to help. The girls planned and organized a carnival for children to enjoy during the Relay for Life event in Wake Forest. They built games and arranged donations for prizes. During the event the girls worked all the booths, which included a balloon toss, a duck pond, a milk bottle knock-down, a fishing pond, a giant ring toss, tattoos, and a large T-shirt race. Many children and parents came by to play and returned often during the day.

Summary: Girl Scout Troop #187 planned, organized and conducted Vacation Bible School for four nights at Providence United Methodist Church. They planned crafts, music, recreation, Bible stories, and meals. Also, the girls designed scenery and decorations to be placed around the church. Participants were given the opportunity to donate money to the Vacation Bible School mission project to help local tornado victims.

Troop #1537 plans to maintain the website as an ongoing service project. The website has the potential of serving 41,000 homeschoolers.

She involved her youth group at the church to assist in packing the lunches. Finally, Emily created a blog outlining what she did and listing additional ideas that younger kids could use to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity.

Summary: Lyndsey and Safiya, of Girl Scout Troop #514, planned and conducted a three-day workshop at the Genesis Home for homeless women and children in Durham. On day one, a librarian came in and spoke with the children and signed them up for library cards. There was a craft day and the children made bookmarks, decorated book bags, and made a "Pledge to Read" banner. Parents were invited the last day of the workshop, and the children received certificates, the crafts they made, and three donated books picked out specifically for them.

Summary: Members of Girl Scout Troop #135 adopted residents of a local nursing home over a two-year period. Beginning in Fall 2009, the girls made regular visits to their new friends. The girls ended their time with the residents with a big talent show, which brought some fun and entertainment to the residents' day. The girls plan to periodically visit their friends at the nursing home.

Summary: Desiree and Keely planned and conducted a cooking safety class for 15 kids. The Zebulon Fire Department came and talked about fire safety. Seven fire extinguishers were donated, and the kids learned how to use them. Games were played to teach them about cross contamination of food, and the girls used Glo germ to show how germs are spread. Participants learned how to properly wash their hands. Also, a nurse spoke about kitchen First Aid.

Cassie talked to a science teacher at her school, and now the lower school students are learning about bluebirds and monitor the boxes.

Title: Blindness/Eye Impairment in India: A Global Issue
Summary: India has the largest blind population in the world at 15 million people. Seventy-five percent of the cases of blindness are preventable. Given these statistics, Sujata organized a program to collect glasses and contact lenses to take to Indian eye clinics and hospitals. She collected 25 pairs of glasses and six boxes of contact lenses. Also, Sujata presented her research about this problem in India to a large audience to spread awareness about the issue. Glasses and contact lenses will continue to be collected for Sujata to deliver to the clinics and hospitals in India.

Summary: Mary's Silver Award Project had two objectives. One was to open communication ties with the Maleng-ock Girl Guide troop in southern Sudan and to eventually help them get uniforms. Mary created a 45-minute lesson plan on Sudanese culture and Girl Guides, which she presented to the fifth grade Sunday School class at her church. Mary joined the Global Missions Committee at her church with a three-year commitment to form a troop sisterhood and to be a youth liaison to the Global Missions Committee.

A new changing table was also added with a cubbie underneath for diaper bags.

Summary: Carly directed a day camp at her house, under the supervision of an adult, to promote safety and manners in the kitchen for little girls. The camp was called Little Ladies' Camp. On the last day of camp, Carly and the campers had a mother/daughter tea that showcased what they had learned at camp.

She also tutored three fifth grade students as part of her project.

Summary: Christen taught girls, ages eight to 12, how to play softball. She taught them the basic fundamentals of softball during intramurals. Then during a two-day clinic Christen taught them not only the fundamentals of softball, but the importance of warming up, and good sportsmanship. The clinic helped prepare the girls to play softball in the Wake Forest Youth Parks and Recreation League in the spring. Based on the success of the program, the Wake Forest Parks and Recreation Department is considering adding a softball clinic or camp to their offerings.

Summary: Concerned about childhood obesity and fitness, Emily created and ran a healthy living program for second and third graders at Thales Academy. Participants met every Wednesday after school for nine weeks for an hour and a half. Each week they were served a healthy snack, discussed a health-related topic and then moved to the gym for stretches, two exercises and a cool-down period. At the end of the program, Emily gave the participants a packet which included ideas for home exercises, healthy snacks, and activities. They also received a goody bag which contained a jump rope and a beach ball.

At each location they did a service project such as donating supplies or hosting a bingo game. She also created a sight word book with over 90 words in it for each student, a laminated sheet with reading comprehension questions to ask themselves after each book, and a laminated sheet for them to draw their favorite part of the book on. She hosted a party to hand out the backpacks and explain how to use everything. She also read to them and explained the importance of reading every day.

Summary: Mary made and delivered 45 tied-fleece pillows for the children at Interact of Wake County, a women's shelter for victims of domestic violence. She enlisted help from girls at an after-school program, teaching them how to make the pillows while telling them about Girl Scouting. She also made pillows with her troop for the children who stayed at Wake Forest Presbyterian Church in January. To raise money for supplies, she babysat in her neighborhood and sold snacks and drinks at the Powderpuff Derby.

Summary: The girls built a garden with a birdbath and bench in the park behind the Knightdale Town Hall and Library. Summary: Madison and two band assistants provided girls at Girls' Club of North Raleigh with an introduction to band performance. She has been asked to repeat the camp next year for Girls' Club as well as several other organizations.

Summary: Lauren worked at the Topsail Humane Society and the Pender County Humane Society cleaning dogs, cats, and their pens. She helped feed and walk the dogs, so that they could learn to walk on leashes. She also helped with other chores. Lauren also put together gift baskets for the Pender County Humane Society for the cats and dog when they are adopted.

Summary: The girls planned and implemented a total uplift of the Wilmington Interfaith Day Home, which was completed in four days. The entire interior of the home was repainted, new flooring donated and laid, new kitchen cabinets and countertops were installed, and new blinds hung throughout the home. in addition, new sofas, TVs, VCRs, and completely new safe and educational toys for the playroom, as well as a new computer and printer were donated. The project involved a total of 45 volunteers, 800 hours, and over $10,000 in donated items.

They had the children color pictures of flowers and plant sunflowers seeds in starter kits.

Adoption, and Animal Control to disperse to those who adopt either a cat or dog.

Summary: Rachel acquired duffel bags with personal care and school supplies for children in foster care who are removed from their homes, so that they will be able to put their belongings into a suitable bag instead of trash bags. This will also allow the children to have some personal care items instead of sharing with others, as well as have school supplies since they really need this in order to have the tools required to learn.

Summary: Caroline renovated a bathroom at the U-Care facility.  She re-painted the walls and doors and re-caulked the bathtub and surrounding tiles.  She installed a toilet paper holder and a new shower curtain.  She also put in new rugs and pictures.
