Project Advisor for Girl Scout Gold and Silver Award Projects
The Girl Scout Silver Award and the Girl Scout Gold Award are the highest awards a girl in Girl Scouting can earn at ages 11-14 and 14-18. Each represents a process and commitment to developing and using leadership skills to affect a positive change in a girl's community. By indicating your interest in acting as a project advisor, you are taking the first step toward helping a young woman become an asset to her community. The volunteer experience involves a commitment of time and a mentoring relationship to help a girl succeed in her goal setting, planning, and the actual fulfillment of her project. If you are interested, fill out the advisor form and a representative from our council will get in touch with you. We provide coaching and resources to make this a very fulfilling experience for all involved.
Ten Year Award
Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines is proud to present Ten Year Award pins to girls who have been registered in Girl Scouting for 10 years. Membership does not need to have been continuous. This is a one-time award and is for girls only.
