2010-2011 Girl Board Members --- Application Due: October 28, 2009
Each year outstanding girl leaders are identified to serve as girl board members for the council’s board of directors. Applications are currently being accepted from girls who are currently registered Girl Scouts in our council and in the 9th-11th grade.
Board members participate in developing strategic direction and goals for the council and understand and support the council mission, policy and basic philosophy of the Girl Scout Movement. The board meets about five times a year. Girls selected to serve in this capacity have the opportunity to develop leadership qualities and skills while discovering the impact they can have as a leader!
